R K SHETTY -Divisional Vice President of the MDRT Membership

Radhakrishna (R.K.) Shetty, LUTCF, of Mumbai, India, has the prestigious honor of serving as the 2009–2010 Divisional Vice President of the MDRT Membership Communications Division.  

In MDRT’s 82-year history, Shetty is the first MDRT member from India to serve as a Divisional Vice President (DVP).

As DVP he will be a member of MDRT’s 15-person Management Council, which provides leadership to the Round Table’s 39 committees/task forces and sets a strong course for the organization’s future. 

Shetty is a 12-year MDRT member with 3 COT and 5 TOT honors and has been a member or Chair on a total of 11 MDRT committees/task forces.  Shetty is a leading life insurance and well-known income tax practitioner in Mumbai.  He has qualified for the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) exclusive Corporate Club of Agents and has been a member of the Chairman’s Club for Agents since 2000.   In addition, Shetty was a speaker and among the 300 MDRT members from India who attended the 2009 MDRT Annual Meeting, June 7-11, in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.
